The Gardens Geeks is a new resident group forming in The Gardens Community, bringing together people who enjoy computers, electronics, networking, radio communications, digital media, and other technology-related hobbies. Whether you’re an experienced enthusiast or just curious to learn, everyone is welcome.

What You Can Do
Help Us Keep Our Community Information Up to Date!
This page—and many others, including the Community Calendar and the 732 Channel—depends on information from residents like you. If you host an event, lead a club or group, organize activities, or have something happening in the park, we’d love to hear from you.
We’ll work with you to make sure your information is accurate, up to date, and available online so everyone in the community has easy access to the latest news and events.
Send us your event dates, times, descriptions, meeting details, announcements, or anything else you’d like to share. Have a logo, flyer, or graphic? We’d be happy to include that too. The possibilities are almost endless!

Pool WIFI
For those unaware there is a guest WIFI at the pool. Residents can bring their phones, tablets and computers to the pool area while enjoying this beautiful weather. Join the Gardens_Guest from your device and enter poolside (all lower case) as the password.

If you are a person that likes technology, enjoys sharing and helping, knows a little and wants to know more then lets talk. The Gardens Geeks is a new thing. It is being formed to get like minded people to talk and try different things.
The Website
This website is hosted on a donated computer located here in our community. Although it runs on our local network, it is accessible from anywhere on the internet.
The server runs Debian Linux and WordPress, both open-source software. Because open-source software is free to use, the only ongoing expense is the small annual fee to register the domain name.
Today, this server hosts this website as well as providing the programming for the 732 TV Channel. It is the central hub for these services and serves as the foundation for future digital signage, community information displays, online services, and other technology projects designed to benefit residents.

We proudly support The Gardens and assist with the resident information network when possible.
